Artist Joe Rizzo

Renowned fabrication artist, Joey Rizzo is the featured artist for the 2025 Springfield Sportsmen’s Show.  Joe has an extensive background in creating art installations that can be seen in both the commercial and art world.  From film and theater production to major entertainment venues like six flags amusement park and Dolly Wood, Joe’s artistic touch has a dramatic impact on the viewing audience.  Every piece is a work of art and a sight to see.

This year at the 2025 Springfield Sportsmen’s show you can see one of Joe’s impressive pieces.  His 14 foot brook trout "Chance" ( Risk & Opportunity).  This massive 14' true to life sculpture is a site to be seen and it is just one of many similar project that Joe is currently working on.  Many of Joe’s  projects have become local and national landmarks such as a giant catfish in Alabama, giant lobsters in Maine and New Jersey, the giant frog clock in Bangor Maine!

Joe adds excitment to the upcoming the show.  His carvings, sculpture and fabrications and paintings have received several wildlife carving, sculpture and painting awards through out the Northeast. Joe will have much of his work at the show and has announce that participants could get lucky and win one of his works as a door prize, just for attending the show.  Just take a look at what we’ll have as part of our many door prize offerings:

This sculptures creation and intended design is for advocating and promotion of conservation, and awareness of clean water, all wildlife and consideration of appropriate land use. “Conservation cherishes all life seen and unseen as we all must become caretakers of the natural world.”

It’s not just a fish sculpture…this is a traveling exhibit used as an educational tool, it is modern art and shared as public art. It’s not the first I’ve created and I have others elements of this project still in the works to be applied at a later time.

I create wildlife art to bring awareness to the beauty found in the natural world as it inspires me. Mammals Song birds, raptors , ducks, fish. flowers, insects, reptiles and amphibians etc all represented on the skirting around the bottom. In addition the sculpture has informational signage of non profit organizations provided by Downeast Salmon Federation, Trout Unlimited and The Ruffed grouse society, with more to come.
This sculpture is a traveling display on a 20’ trailer….
If you are interested in discussing this display at an event I look forward the a conversation with you when you have a moment.
Below is the most recent news reel with a link to some of my other traditional art.
I do have a resume of my museum fabrication and 829 NY scenic work a charge experience in the movie production industry alone with some other career highlights upon your request.
